Ryan has been working in the telco and media space for over fifteen years. His knowledge of mobile, video and online content has seen him becoming a successful executive and business owner, with great success in start-ups and a keen understanding of building and managing teams from diverse backgrounds in varying countries.
Having served as CEO, MD, and Executive Director for a variety of companies he has concluded content and distribution deals with the likes of YouTube, Netflix, SABC, e.TV, RedBull, Vodacom, MTN and Roku. Key achievements include the launch of South Africa’s first alternate international calling card in 2001 Global International (Pty) Ltd, followed by founding and opening Liquid Telecom South Africa.
Ryan is responsible for managing Viu’s African operations from its Johannesburg-based
offices. He holds a BCom in Finance from Bond University, Australia.

An extraordinary presence in the music industry for over 30 years, Antos Stella is one of the most respected businesswomen to emerge from the industry. Her artist relations have been one of her major strengths, enabling her to successfully bridge the gap between the creative and business worlds.
Antos has been instrumental in some of the countries biggest international artist deals, an ambassador for the country internationally as well as a leading content aggregator focused specifically on the relationship between telecommunications and the digital distribution of local and international content. Antos and her team at CCA are expanding the distribution of content to include not only music but mobile television and video content too.

1984 Joined Gallo Record Company – South Africa’s biggest record label as legal secretary
1985 Moved to Public Relations and Head of Gallo’s Corporate Communications. Completed PR and Marketing Diploma
1986 Moved to Gallo Music International to head up marketing of South African artists to the rest of the world
1987 Successfully launched SA’s biggest sales awards for the music industry – Gallo Gold Awards
1991 Became Managing Director of Gallo Music International

2004 Started own digital record label AS Entertainment

Mr Dumisa Ngwenya is the Head of Research and Innovation at Sentech. He has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications. Previously, Dumisa was a Research Group leader at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and a Chief Technology Officer of Sentech. He has worked in the private sector and regulatory environment. He is a senior member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Dumisa holds BSc. Electronic Engineering from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and MSc from the University of Witwatersrand.
